Me on a previous visit to Tunnel I've had a couple of weekends off recently, my youngest daughter has had chicken pox and my sister had a baby amongst other things so has been busy times off the bank.
I was out at Tunnel Barn Farm yesterday though doing a feature with improve your coarse fishing magazine.
After battling through the M42 rush hour traffic and speaking to Les and Pete, I went for Top pool peg 15 as recommended for plenty of bites.
The weather was a strange one as it was mild, then cold and rainy, then some hail and back to mild again. But by the time Mark Parker and Mick Rouse from Bauer Media arrived I was catching well and I had a great day catching F1's and stockies at 5m and 13m.
The feature was on maggots and how to enhance them by using a variety of liquids and flavourings.
It should be on shelves in a month or so and should be a great feature so check it out!
Many thanks to Sarah, Les and Pete for the hospitality at Tunnel Barn, they even sent up a sandwich and coffee's for us at lunchtime!
