Back up to Woodlands but this time fishing for the Carps!
The match was on front deans so I was hoping for a good draw that would snare a few.
I could hardly believe it however when I pulled out front deans 4 again!! The 3rd time this year I have been on that peg and it has been cruel to me on both previous occasions.
Still this was a different ball game (or so I thought) and I set up a waggler, bomb rod and two pole lines in the hope of snaring a few of the fine carp that live here.
It was a really difficult day again and most of the field struggled, peg 4 was being a nasty pasty again and I only had 3 carp a few skimmers and some Roach so didnt bother weighing it. The match was won with 48lb I think over in the far corner but I left empty handed again!
