Wrong!
I must have really upset someone with mystical powers recently as I was looking for pegs 12-20 ish ,or anywhere in that sort of area. What came out of the hat....32 totally opposite end to the lake in the corner with the wind off my back giving a flat spot in front out to about 14m.
Still the positive thoughts were till there, fish swim, its a commercial anything can happen and I still set up positively with a paste line, an edge line shallow line and pellet waggler.
First bung on the paste and I was playing a 5lb mirror! Happy days! This was followed by a small F1 then a skimmer and then......nothing!
At least not for the next hour! Despite regular feeding, rotating swims a crack at the shallow line the fish had vanished.
I was getting the odd bite on the paste but it was going to be another one of those days. I could see the pegs opposite all bagging up on the method, pellet waggler and everything else they were putting near the water but for us poor souls at the car park end it was a grueller.
I didn't weigh in at the end as my 10 or so Carp and F1s were no where near the colossal 229lb winning weight.

Ah well there's always next time, and I have got a new plan. The next match I will draw with my right hand and have a rummage around. What I usually do is draw left handed and pick two up and drop one so its time for a change!
That's got to work hasn't it?!
